Our crews are from all walks of life, the only criteria is that they must be between 16 and 25 years of age, and have sailed with us at least once before. The 4 crews are selected from those who have sailed on our standard Sail Training Voyages and have demonstrated that they have given of their personal best. They are then invited to an arduous selection weekend where they compete for a crew position. Both male and females, are eligible to enter for a place on Rona II for the Trans-Atlantic Challenge 2009.
No sailing experience is required, but you will need to have sailed with us on one of our standard Sail Training Voyages so that you have an idea of what it's like onboard for a week - mid-Atlantic is no place to decide that this is not for you!
